CASE REPORT- PRE AURICULAR SWELLING PRESENTED AS DERMATOFIBROSARCOMA

Background: Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans a rare soft tissue tumour that involves the dermis, subcutaneous fat, and in cases muscle fascia. Case Report: 34 yr old female patient presented with history of swelling front right ear since 2 years, associated pain weeks , HRUSG neck reported as Neoplastic pathology FNAC benign spindle cell tumor. Patient underwent surgical excision tumour. Frozen section sent was synovial sarcoma or schwannoma. Hence on table superficial parotidectomy done. HPE showed . Conclusion: is considered intermediate-grade malignancy low likelihood metastasis hence treatment complete excision. As chance recurrence high regular follow up required.
